KITCHEN DESIGN TRENDS FOR MAY

Houzz recently surveyed more than 1,700 renovating homeowners as part of its 2018 U.S. Kitchen Trends Study. The study focused on colors and finishes people are choosing for their kitchen remodels.

White kitchens still make it the top of the list; however, there are popular trends:
  • Sage, a light green color that looks nice accented with brass hardware.
  • White oak cabinets and white marble which looks great for kitchens that have a lot of natural sunlight.
  • Wood counter tops are making a comeback and make a kitchen seem inviting.
  • Light blue kitchens create a fun and warm feeling.
  • Black kitchens are very dapper and look great with an offset of a white color.
  • Rich midnight color with a hardwood floor is in vogue too.
  • The top design trend is a gray kitchen which looks very sophisticated with brass accents.

Here are a few ways that can help you decide which colors really speak to your personality: MOOD:  design a space around the mood they wish to express.
